Quyen Nguyen: Color-coded surgery
Awesome talk by surgeon Quyen Nguyen. She and her lab team have created a molecule that has the ability to selectively fluoresce tissues during surgery (including cancers), which essentially lights them up for the operating surgeon.
Must watch. Great surgical breakthrough.
