Kiwi fruit is good for diabetic

Kiwi is the fruit which appear with hairy and brownish skin and contain green flesh. There is also white pulp in the centre and surrounded by edible black tiny seeds. The taste is sweet and that is why many people love it. But do you know what is the nutrition contained in kiwi?

Let’s shows it here. Scientifically kiwi has been proven could help to improving asthmatic children preventing or decrease the probability of colon cancer as it has a great amount of fiber. One kiwi fruit are rich with vitamins especially Vitamin C, flavonoids and minerals. It also contains potassium as much as banana and have great amount of beta-carotene.

It is also proven that kiwi is beneficial for your eyes health. This is proven by one of the sources that stated below.

Kiwi also acts as a good antioxidant. This is because it does contain various vitamins mainly Vitamin C, E and A. Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant that has been proven to protect our body from free radicals, dramatically improving the health of individuals who consumed it regularly against all kinds of disease, from cardiovascular problems to cancer and obesity. As well as Vitamin E which also act as antioxidant which is fat soluble and thus is complimentary to Vitamin C. Hence kiwi does contain highly with both Vitamin C and E which can help to protect our body against free radical.

As a high fiber fruit, kiwi also can help to control blood sugar level and prevent potential of having colon cancer. It is good for diabetic patient to consume kiwi fruit. It is also good for heart disease patient as it can help to lowering the probability of heart attack.

However, note that kiwi can be allergic to certain individual. This is due to the contained of protein-dissolving enzyme “actinidin”. The common symptoms occur for individual who has allergic to kiwi is as itching of the mouth or lips and palate.

Well, start to consume more kiwi as it is very beneficial to your health. You can’t believe that a small amount of kiwi fruit can enrich so much of your health.

    Thank you for this article. If over consumed, all fruit can be bad for diabetics. However, some fruits can be eaten in greater quantities than others. That’s because some fruits have a higher a sugar content. My question is, does kiwi have a higher levels of sugar than other fruit?
