Soft Drinks May Cause Heart Attack

A report by American heart experts published in the Journal of the American Heart Association shows that those who drink just two glasses of a soft drink every day increase their risk to die from heart attack and coronary disease.
The link between love for soft drinks and obesity has been long established. Now we know how soft drinks affect systolic blood pressure. Two glasses every day can elevate it by 3 mm Hg (millimeter of mercury). This increases mortality risk from heart attack (by 8 percent) and stroke (by 5 percent).
